The 14th Annual PaSaRyu Black Belt Seminar planned for 1st Dan Black Belts and up, will tentatively take place on Saturday, March 6, 2027.

Note that the seminar will be a nominal fee of $45 per participant. We have worked to keep the fee the same as last year and is still at a minimal expense. We should have a new t-shirt designed and lunch are all covered with your fee.

Introduction and Update from PaSaRyu Advisory Committee (PAC)
Words from WBBB Director & President Master Yong Rhee.
Q&A.

Morning Training 9:30 AM with assist from all Master Black Belts in PAC

Fundamentals & Basics, Kata & Yak Soaks for PaSaRyu focusing on precise, correct techniques.

Demonstrations 11:30 AM

Lunch and Fellowship (box lunches provided) 12:00 PM

Masters Promotions 1:00 PM

Ben Flowers will be testing for his 5th Degree black belt.

Tenille Westpoint will be testing for her 5th Degree black belt.

During this time, the rank testees will be performing their requirements as well as leading the seminar in Kata, Yak Soak and possibly a self-defense technique. Be prepared to follow their lead and participate in 2 Person activities as needed.

Sparring 2:00PM

Masters will be discussing and demonstrating techniques. If you wish to spar, please bring your gear, it is recommended to bring your full set to ensure safety.  Sparring techniques and strategies will be discussed and then drilled.  Once the techniques have been practiced solo, we can partner up and practice with each other. No contact for those without gear.  Only participate in the things you are comfortable with and capable of.  Kata will still be available if you would prefer to focus on that.  This will be the last event of the day.  

Conclusion & Wrapping up 3:15 PM Q&A for recap as needed.  Attendance certificates will be available at the entrance table.
